This week-end (November 9, 2013) saw the premiere screenings of two films for which I composed music: Min Bae’s short film Cinephilia and a feature length documentary co-directed by Audra Macintyre and Kim Nelson entitled This is What a Feminist Sounds Like. Both films were screened as part of the 2013 Windsor International Film Festival.

The soundtracks for both films were created in Ableton Live, with a combination of modified original sound samples and factory instruments. I really like the several bits created for the Macintyre/Nelson film, and hope to turn them into a live performance piece with added saxophone and video.
