browsing beauty in Oslo
This week I worked with Andrea Sunder-Plassmann and Sigi Torinus on a new version of their browsing beauty project that incorporates live sound-video interactivity in a performable installation. I performed on saxophone through an improvisational structure channeled through a series of Max 4 Live patches while Andrea and Sigi used the audio feed as a controller on a set of video processing patches created in the language Isadora. We presented the work at the Oslofjord Ecologies event at the RAM Galleri in Oslo. It was great to meet the other artists involved in the show, and to work again with Andrea and Sigi.
