Johnny West is something of a legend in the Windsor music scene. He has been producing CDs for many years, and mostly seems to hand them out to friends and music lovers that seek him out. His recordings are extremely eclectic, and he plays a variety of instruments from his rather massive collection of unusual stringed instruments, percussion, and vintage electronics. John asked me if I would play on a couple of tracks in his forthcoming release, and I had a nice time adding some sax lines to an extended Pink Floyd-y kind of track as well as a shorter more ambient track with heavy audio processing. I look forward to hearing the results, supposedly later this spring.
