Eyeball recording session
Spend much of yesterday afternoon in Studio A testing out the integrated system for Homstal performances. I have my saxophone, a microphone running into my computer interface, a pedal board for MIDI control, and a webcam for live video input. I put together a Max MSP patch for an improv called Eyeball: the webcam focuses on my face (and at times, my eyeball…) while I’m playing; the video is run through a silhouette patch with some colour controls and the audio is run through Ableton Live for processing and recording. The pedal board allows me to simultaneously control video and audio settings while continuing to play. I plan to edit the recordings we made and post something soon.
